Austin, TX — September 26, 2024, Denise Vargas was injured following a car accident that happened at around 7:50 P.M. on State Highway 36.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of September 26th. According to official reports, Denis Vargas was travelling in a Toyota Cruiser on SH 36 in the northbound lanes, at the intersection of FM 331, when a Chevy Silverado coming from the rear on Hwy 36 failed to control their speed and collided with the rear of Vargas’s vehicle.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Vargas had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Vargas’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
