Midland County, TX — July 19, 2024, Danny Howell was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident at approximately 5:00 p.m. along Florida Avenue.
According to authorities, 43-year-old Danny Howell was on foot crossing Florida Avenue at the Dallas Street intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, Howell was struck by an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. He suffered critical injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. However, he was ultimately unable to overcome the extent of his injuries, having there been declared deceased. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time.
