Fort Stockton, TX — July 4, 2023, Cristian Samaniego was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 6:46 p.m. on Sycamore Ave. in Fort Stockton.
Sources report the victim’s Jeep Wrangler was southbound on Sycamore Ave. and approaching Spur 194 when the car somehow veered toward the driver’s side, left the road, struck a street sign, and reentered the road in a rollover crash.
Officials report the Jeep came to rest on Spur 194 on its roof with its nose pointing north.
Mr. Samaniego was purportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
