Fort Worth, TX — June 16, 2024, Corey Finney was injured following a hit-and-run car accident just after 6:00 p.m. along Angle Avenue.
According to authorities, 33-year-old Correy Finney was traveling in a southbound Porsche Cayenne on Angle Avenue in the roundabout intersection with Old Decatur Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound vehicle of unknown make or model on Angle Avenue entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to roundabout traffic. This resulted in a collision between the unknown vehicle and the Porsche.
Due to the impact, the Cayenne overturned and rolled twice before coming to a stop. Finney suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The unknown vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
