Potter County, TX — May 3, 2024, Christopher Keats and four others were injured following a car accident shortly before 9:45 p.m. along East Amarillo Boulevard.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Christopher Keats was traveling in an eastbound Ford Crown Victoria on Amarillo Boulevard at the NW 4th intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck occupied by a 58-year-old woman, a 52-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman, and a 58-year-old man on NW 4th failed to stop for the stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-left of the pickup truck and he front-right of the Ford.
Each person involved in the accident suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; they were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
