Fredericksburg, TX — November 9, 2023, Christal Meggs was injured in a truck accident just before 7:45 in the morning along Friendship Lane.
According to reports, 43-year-old Christal Meggs was traveling in an eastbound Toyota Scion on Friendship Lane approaching the Hollmig Lane intersection when the accident took place.
Authorities state that an 18-wheeler was stopped in the right-most of the two eastbound lanes with hazard lights activated when, for unknown reasons, the Toyots Scion collided with rear left of the trailer it had in tow. Meggs reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. No additional injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and wet. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
