Lubbock, TX — April 13, 2024, three people were injured following a car accident at approximately 8:30 p.m. along 70th Street.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at the intersection of 70th Street and University Avenue.
The causal factors that led to the accident remain unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision occurred between two motor vehicles. Two victims reportedly became entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted upon the arrival of emergency personnel.
One of the victims incurred suspected severe injuries, while two others suffered reportedly moderate injuries. All three were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
