Hauppage, NY — June 12, 2023, Brian Nieves was killed in a tractor-trailer accident on the Long Island Expressway in Hauppage, NY.

Authorities say the crash happened shortly after 3:00 a.m. when a Jeep Cherokee traveling westbound on the expressway rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

Upon impact, 38-year-old Brian Nieves was reportedly thrown from his vehicle, sustaining fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities are not sure what caused the crash and are continuing the investigation. No further information is available.
