Chambers County, TX — March 15, 2024, Brandon Watson was injured due to a car accident at around 2:30 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 565.
Authorities said in initial statements that the crash happened north of the F.M. 565 and I-10 service road intersection along the side of Old River Lake.

According to officials, 44-year-old Brandon Watson was in a Honda Civic traveling northbound along F.M. 565. The vehicle apparently went off the right side of the roadway where it hit a culvert, went through a fence, and ultimately crashed into a pole. Due to this, it appears Watson was taken from the scene with serious injuries. No one else appeared to have been involved in the crash.

It’s not too surprising how few details are available right now. Unfortunately, single-vehicle wrecks aren’t often a high priority for the authorities. This can actually lead to them missing crucial details if they don’t dedicate the right tools to consider complex possible factors, such as mechanical issues, defects, or road hazards. Hopefully they didn’t leave anyone involved here with unanswered questions, but it would be far from the first time if evidence showed otherwise.
