Hopkins County, TX — July 8, 2023, Bobby Brantley Jr. was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 6:55 a.m. on I-30 in Hopkins County.
According to officials, the victim’s Nissan Altima was westbound on I-30, approaching F.M. 3389, when his vehicle reportedly veered toward its passenger side, slid along a metal guardrail, left the road, crashed through a barbed wire fence, collided with a tree, and fell nose down into a creek.
Mr. Brantley Jr. was fatally injured in the crash.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
