How Did This Accident Occur?
We don’t know much about this crash right now. Investigators ought to be able to assemble a clear picture of this accident by scrutinizing witness statements, evidence from the scene, data from the vehicles and any available video footage of the accident. An independent expert may be needed if there is any indication that one of the involved vehicles had a mechanical problem that contributed to this crash, because in my experience most law enforcement agencies lack the time or resources for such examinations.
A thorough investigation will provide answers for the victim’s family. Anything less could leave them with lingering questions about what happened here.
