Accident Report

April 19, 2026, Armando Serrano and one other were injured following a car accident at around 2:00 p.m. along County Road 3891 S.

According to officials, the crash took place off CR-3891 S and CR-3892 E in an area west of Cleveland. It appears that 38-year-old Armando Serrano was in a Toyota Rav4 going northbound through the intersection. A Jeep Wrangler was going eastbound. At the intersection, the vehicles collided.

Armando Serrano reportedly had serious injuries while the Jeep driver’s injuries were moderate. Reports did not give additional details about the accident.

How Did This Accident Occur?

Vehicles crashing at an intersection like this is usually a sign that someone wasn’t paying attention to the road. That’s why cellphone data is about the first thing I expect to see from an accident reconstruction. But just because something is uncommon doesn’t mean it should be overlooked.

For example, what if there was a missing stop sign at the intersection? As crazy as that sounds, I recall looking into a crash out in west Texas where that exact thing occurred. TxDOT did construction at an intersection and removed a stop sign, but they forgot to replace it when they left. So, a lot of people who ended up blaming the driver that “ran” that non-existent stop sign were just blaming someone for something they had no control over.

I’m not saying that happened here, but there isn’t enough public information to say one way or the other. That’s why it’s always best to make sure professionals are going over the evidence so the facts can tell the story. Hopefully that’s happening here.
