Coppell, TX — June 22, 2023, Arielle Grier was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 12:55 p.m. on Interstate 635 in Coppell.
Sources report the victim’s Jeep Patriot was traveling eastbound on I-635 in the far inner lane and attempting to merge to the far outer lane when the multi-vehicle crash occurred.
Reportedly, while Ms. Grier’s Jeep was merging into the outside lane, it clipped another car’s left, rear corner. The Jeep allegedly then attempted an evasive maneuver and veered back to the center lane, where a tractor-trailer rear-ended it. The Jeep Patriot was purportedly forced to swerve toward its driver’s side and strike a concrete barrier.
Authorities report Ms. Arielle Grier suffered serious injuries. No other injuries were reported, however, the second passenger car failed to pull over after the crash.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
