Travis County, TX — July 8, 2023, Angelita Galindo was injured as the result of a commercial vehicle accident at around 6:40 p.m. along U.S. Highway 290.
Investigators said that the incident happened in the area of U.S. 290 and F.M. 973.
42-year-old Angelita Galindo was identified as the driver of a Mercedes-Benz that was going westbound along the highway approaching the F.M. 973 intersection. For reasons which are unclear, it appears a commercial truck slowed “to less than 10 miles an hour.” After doing so, Galindo’s vehicle crashed into the truck.
As a result of the incident, Galindo had injuries which were described as incapacitating. There were no other confirmed injuries resulting from the crash. Authorities could not confirm the cause of the accident, and no further information is available at this time.
