Bastrop County, TX — June 25, 2023, Alexander Martinez was injured as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 10:06 p.m. along Old San Antonio Road.
According to preliminary information provided by authorities, the crash took place in the area of Old San Antonio Road (County Road 250) and F.M. 812.
Officials said that 29-year-old Alexander Martinez was in a Volkswagen SUV that was going northeast along Old San Antonio Road. For reasons which can’t be confirmed at this time, the Volkswagen veered to the left off the side of the road. This caused the vehicle to crash through a fence and into a telephone pole.
Martinez sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There were no other reported injuries. Currently, the cause of the crash is still under investigations and remains unconfirmed.
