Brownsville, TX — July 20, 2023, a woman and two children were injured following an 18-wheeler accident at around 9:03 a.m. along Padre Island Highway.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened along the 6900 block of Padre Island Highway, which is just off Coffee Road.
Investigators said that a woman and two children were in a vehicle that was traveling along Padre Island Highway. Due to a series of events not clear at this time, an 18-wheeler crashed into their vehicle. As a result, the woman and the two children were taken to an area hospital. Their injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
It appears there were no other confirmed injuries. Authorities did not specify the cause of the accident nor did they say if any charges or citations are pending. Investigations are ongoing.
