The Ticket Sports Bar & Grill is located in Universal City, Texas. In recent years, it has attracted the attention of the TABC due to allegations of liquor law violations. Between 2015 and 2017, authorities conducted two investigations into the bar's alcohol service practices.
In my three decades of legal practice, rarely have I seen bar end up involved in a wrongful death or injury case that didn't have a history of complaints on file with TABC. TABC Investigations of The Ticket Sports Bar & Grill Between 2015 and 2017

Allegations:
On 01/09/2015, staff filed a TABC complaint that claimed a breach of the peace (typically a fight) occurred. While it might seem strange for a staff member to be the source of a TABC complaint, employees have a legal obligation to report any violations they see in the workplace.
An investigation ensued, but authorities did not manage to find any evidence to back up the claim. Unable to take any further action, they decided to close the case on 02/22/2015.
A member of the Universal City community reached out to the TABC on 08/19/2017, alleging multiple violations. These included: permitting a minor to both purchase and consume alcohol, staff drinking on the job, and allowing staff to sell drugs on the premises.
Authorities looked into the allegations soon thereafter. For most liquor law violations, the TABC requires either video footage of the incident or eyewitness testimony from one of its agents in order to take action. Having neither in this investigation, authorities decided to close the case on 10/20/2017.
