An 81-year-old man, Esau Foster, was killed in a collision with a semi-truck on I-81 northbound in Butler Township. According to authorities, the crash happened at mile marker 119.4 around 2:22 p.m. on September 2. Foster was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead later that evening.
