Two people were killed and four others injured in a two-vehicle crash in Ector County on Friday night. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 61-year-old Juan Manuel Nunez-Quiroz was driving a 2019 Chevrolet 2500 southbound on Knox Avenue when he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of W. University. His vehicle was reportedly struck by a 2012 GMC Yukon traveling westbound on FM 2020. Nunez-Quiroz and GMC passenger Tyson Cooper Avery, 32, were both pronounced dead at the scene. Three minors and 34-year-old Rachel Avery were also injured in the crash.
