Harris County, TX — May 25, 2024, Victor Trevino and four people were injured following a car accident at around 11:50 p.m. along Allen Genoa Road.
According to information from authorities, the crash happened at the intersection of Allen Genoa Road and Forest Oaks Drive.

Investigators said that 21-year-old Victor Trevino was in a Chevy Silverado going southbound on Allen Genoa. At Forest Oaks, it appears a Mercury Mariner may have failed to yield, causing the vehicles to collided. As a result of this collision, four people in the Mercury, including two children, had reportedly serious injuries. Trevino was said to have possible injuries, as well.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Authorities allege that the Mercury driver was under the influence at the time of the accident. If that’s true, there needs to be some consideration into where that alcohol came from. Folks tend to assume drivers just face charges, and that’s the end of the story. In a lot of late night crashes, though, investigations will show there was a local alcohol provider like a bar or a restaurant that illegally over-served the alleged intoxicated driver. They, too, can be held accountable, such as through criminal investigations, fines, or liability if their actions lead to people getting hurt. I have yet to see authorities here mention any such possibility, so are they just not talking much about these events publicly, or are they not giving the crash the attention it deserves?
