Hopefully there has been more effort behind the scenes to ensure investigations were thorough here. Frankly, people tend to jump to conclusions when a driver is a teenager. While they are statistically more likely to make mistakes, anything could have happened here. Was there a tire blowout? A vehicle defect? Road hazards? Likely or not, it’s best to let the evidence speak for itself. It would be right not to give a serious accident the attention it deserved just because of the age of the driver.
