When it comes to crashes involving teen drivers, my concern is always whether or not authorities let the evidence speak for itself. Frankly, people tend to just jump to conclusions because they assume a teen driver must have been doing something wrong. Statistically, they are more likely to cause accidents, but that’s no excuse for ruling out other extenuating circumstances without clear evidence. Regardless of age, there should be some benefit of the doubt until the facts have had their say. Hopefully authorities made sure that happened here.
