Travis County, TX — January 7, 2024, two teenagers were injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 10:10 a.m. along Highway 130.
According to officials, the crash took place off the side of the highway near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 969, east of Austin.

Authorities said in their statements that two 15-year-olds, a girl and a boy, were in a Ford Edge going northbound along the Highway 130 service road. At a curve in the road, the vehicle continued straight off-road where it crashed into a group of trees.
The girl, who was a passenger in the vehicle, reportedly had serious injuries due to the accident. The driver had apparently moderate injuries. Right now, the exact factors contributing to the crash are unconfirmed. Investigations are ongoing.
