Hudson County, NJ — February 3, 2024, Stephanie Weymouth was killed and two others were injured in a truck accident shortly before 12:30 a.m. along Route 185.
According to authorities, 31-year-old Stephanie Weymouth and two other people were traveling in a passenger vehicle along Route 185 in the vicinity of Linden Avenue East when the accident occurred.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the passenger vehicle collided with the back of a tractor-trailer. The 18-wheeler was reportedly unoccupied at the time of the collision.
All three occupants of the passenger vehicle incurred injuries of varying severity as a result of the wreck; they were each transported to local medical facilities in order to receive treatment. Weymouth, however, was ultimately unable to overcome her injuries and was declared deceased at the medical center.
