Officials indicate that, for as yet unconfirmed reasons, the Ford failed to safely negotiate a right-hand curve in the roadway. It allegedly continued straight, crossing over the center line and the southbound lane before it overturned. It reportedly rolled an unknown number of times, striking a mailbox, a chain link fence, and a pedestal before colliding with a tree where it finally came to a stop resting on its roof.

The 41-year-old man incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash, while the woman sustained apparently moderate injuries. They were both transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.

Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
