How Did This Accident Occur?

Motorcycle accidents are more complicated than regular crashes, with different dynamics that crashes involving four-wheeled vehicles. I hope that authorities assign an investigator who has experience with motorcycle accidents to look into this crash on State Highway 75.

Motorcycles are complex machines, so this investigation should include an in-depth vehicle inspection to determine if any mechanical malfunctions or defects contributed to this crash. A throttle or brake issue could easily cause a motorcycle to crash, especially one that is more than a dozen years old.

Investigators also should look into whether the rider was distracted, or if there was another vehicle or object that could have forced the motorcycle off the road.

A thorough investigation should provide answers to any lingering questions that the injured rider and his family have about this crash.
