With this seeming to be a divided roadway, a head-on collision raises some serious red flags. Most common among them is the possibility somebody had been unlawfully over-served by a local alcohol providers. That would need closer investigations, as establishments can be held responsible if they over-serve someone and contribute to a serious accident.
However, less common possible factors also need attention. Medical conditions, poor road design, lack of lighting or signage, other unusual emergencies—it’s important investigations can rule out even unlikely possibilities so the victims and families involved know they’re getting the full story. If authorities don’t do that, they’re bound to leave doubts and questions that deserve answers.
