Colorado County, TX — June 13, 2024, Rachel Sonne was injured following a car accident at approximately 5:45 p.m. along the south feeder road.
According to authorities, 26-year-old Rachel Sonne was traveling in a northbound Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on Old Alleyton Road at the eastbound I.H. 10 feeder road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a Ford F-150 pickup truck on the feeder road failed to stop for a stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the two pickup trucks.
Sonne suffered suspected severe injuries due to the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
