Houston, TX — January 26, 2024, a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 2:00 a.m. along S. Kirkwood Drive.
According to reports, a 39-year-old woman was in a parking lot standing outside of a GMC Sierra speaking to the driver when the accident took place. The parking lot was reportedly located on the southwest corner of the Kirkwood Drive and Briar Forest Road intersection.

According to officials, a Toyota Scion allegedly occupied by three unknown people sideswiped the GMC and collided with the pedestrian before fleeing the scene. The 39-year-old woman incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
