Bastrop County, TX — January 26, 2025, a man sustained injuries following a car versus pedestrian accident at around 3:24 a.m. along Highway 71.
According to initial details about the accident, it took place near the intersection of TX-71 and Pope Bend N. in Wyldwood.
Investigators said that a 26-year-old man was on foot at the time. While in the area of the roadway, an eastbound Hummer struck the man. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident.
