Hartford, CT — January 10, 2024, Paula Garcia was killed and another person was injured in a truck accident at approximately 2:30 a.m. along I-91.
According to authorities, 53-year-old Paula Garcia and one other person were traveling in a northbound vehicle on Interstate 91 in the vicinity of the Whitehead Highway exit when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the accident are unclear. Officials indicate, however, that it involved a collision between the passenger vehicle and an 18-wheeler. Garcia incurred fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was declared deceased at the scene. The other person who had been in the passenger vehicle sustained reportedly minor injuries. No other injuries have been reported.
