Cibolo, TX — January 1, 2024, Paul Briggs was killed in a truck accident just before 7:45 p.m. along Interstate Highway 10.
According to reports, Paul Briggs—age 59—was traveling in an eastbound Chevy Trailblazer SUV along Interstate 10 just west of F.M. 465 when the accident occurred.
The SUV was allegedly driving in an aggressive manner just prior to the accident taking place. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Chevy was unable to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered off of the left side of the roadway where it collided with the wire barrier in the median. It then returned to the roadway, but was facing south in the eastbound lanes when it was struck on the passenger side by an eastbound 18-wheeler with a trailer in tow. Paul Briggs incurred reportedly fatal injuries during the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
