Knowlton Township, NJ — February 27, 2024, Pasqual Franco was killed and two others were injured in a truck accident at around 4:15 a.m. along I.H. 80.
According to authorities, 59-year-old Pasqual Franco and one other person were traveling in a westbound Nissan on Interstate Highway 80 in the area of western Knowlton Township when the accident occurred.
The Nissan apparently became disabled in the right-hand lane of the highway where it came to a stop. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Nissan was rear-ended by a box truck. Franco incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was declared deceased at the scene. The other occupant of the Nissan and the driver of the box truck sustained suspected minor injuries and were transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment.
