Liberty County, TX — February 9, 2024, Mike Lee Glenn Jr. was killed in a hit-and-run accident shortly before 10:30 p.m. along F.M. 2830.
According to authorities, someone uninvolved in the accident reported seeing the victim lying in a ditch on the side of Farm to Market 2830.
Officials indicate that life-saving measures were immediately started upon the arrival of emergency personnel. Glenn was reportedly loaded into a medical helicopter in order to be flown to an area medical facility so he would be able to receive immediate treatment; however, the helicopter was quickly grounded due to weather conditions and ground transport had to be utilized, instead. Reports state that he was ultimately unable to overcome his critical injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital.
