Houston, TX — January 9, 2024, Michell Humphrey was injured in a truck accident shortly after 11:00 a.m. along North Loop East.
According to reports, 53-year-old Michelle Humphrey was traveling in a westbound Lexus along North Loop East approximately a mile south of McCarty Street when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Lexus failed to safely maintain its lane of travel, allegedly leading to a collision with a Hino van which had been traveling westbound in the lane to the right of the Lexus. Humphrey reportedly incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
