Houston, TX — May 15, 2024, Marisol Ordoñez was injured following a car accident at approximately 9:30 p.m. along Memorial City Way.
According to authorities, a Ford F-150 was attempting to flee the scene after hitting an unoccupied Ford Escape in a parking lot near the Memorial City Way and Barryknoll Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, as the truck allegedly fled south in the parking lot and attempted to enter Memorial City way, it failed to yield the right of way to roadway traffic, resulting in a second accident between the front-right corner of the pickup truck and the front-left corner of an eastbound Honda CR-V occupied by 50-year-old Marisol Ordoñez.
EMS were called to the scene in order to treat Ordoñez for her suspected severe injuries. No other injuries were reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
