How Did This Accident Occur?
Based on what we’ve been told so far, it’s impossible to know what happed on Bear Creek Road when an SUV and a semi-truck collided head-on. That is why it is important to wait to see what facts are unearthed during the investigation of this crash.
That probe should show which vehicle veered out of its lane before the crash, but it may take a deeper look to determine if a mechanical issue contributed to the collision. Most law enforcement agencies don’t the time or expertise for such a technical exam, in my experience. Their efforst often stop at documenting the scene and clearing the road for traffic to resume.
