Houston, TX — February 10, 2024, a woman was killed in a pedestrian versus car accident at about 11:20 p.m. along the Southwest Freeway service road.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway Service Road.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the woman was allegedly lying in the roadway when the was struck by a southbound Honda Accord. The woman reportedly incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene.
