Midland, TX — November 12, 2024, James Holman Jr. was injured following a truck accident at approximately 11:45 p.m. along Wadley Avenue.
According to authorities, 77-year-old James Holman Jr. was traveling in a southbound Mazda pickup truck on Mark Lane when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pickup truck entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the pickup truck and a westbound Freightliner.
Holman incurred critical, life-threatening injuries, according to reports, and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
