How Did This Accident Occur?

Interstates don’t have crosswalks, so drivers don’t expect to see pedestrians on the road. After a crash like this, authorities should determine if there was any way for the Acura driver to avoid the crash. That includes checking to see that the 25-year-old vehicle was in good working order at the time. A problem with its brakes or steering mechanism could have contributed to this crash, making it hard for the driver to avoid the collision.
