Fort Bend County, TX — July 22, 2023, Esther Ibanez was injured as the result of an alleged drunk driver accident at around 10:00 p.m. along Dulles Avenue.
Authorities said in preliminary statements on the crash that it occurred on Dulles Avenue just off the Avenue E intersection.
According to officials, 40-year-old Esther Helena Ibanez was the driver of an SUV going southbound on Dulles. At the intersection, Ibanez was reportedly attempting to make a left turn when a northbound vehicle apparently ran a red light and crashed into Ibanez. Due to this, Ibanez reportedly had moderate injuries.
Authorities allege that the other driver had been drinking, and they recommended charges for intoxication assault following their initial investigations. Current details about potential charges are unconfirmed.
