South Brunswick, NJ — January 24, 2024, two people were injured in a dump truck accident shortly before 7:00 a.m. along Route 1.
According to authorities, two people were traveling in a vehicle along Route 1 in the vicinity of the New Road intersection when the accident occured.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with the rear-end of a dump truck. Both occupants of the passenger vehicle incurred reportedly severe injuries as a result of the accident; they were taken to local medical facilities in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
