Littlefield, TX — December 18, 2023, David Perez was killed and Kendall Crump was injured in a truck accident at around 8:00 p.m. along U.S. 84.
According to authorities, 32-year-old David Perez was traveling in a passenger vehicle on South Loop 430 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 84 when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, the passenger vehicle failed to yield the right-of-way to highway traffic at the stop sign, resulting in a collision with an 18-wheeler which had been traveling westbound on the U.S. 84. Perez reportedly incurred fatal injuries as a result of the crash; he was declared deceased at the scene. Kendall Crump—the 31-year-old occupant of the 18-wheeler—sustained suspected minor injuries; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive appropriate evaluation and treatment.
