Abilene, TX — April 28, 2023, Carolyn Smith Lovell and another were injured in a motor vehicle accident around 12:47 p.m. on Musgrave Blvd. in Abilene.
According to authorities, the victim’s Subaru Forester was heading southwest on Musgrave Blvd. and purportedly attempting a left-hand turn to go southeast on Scottish Rd. when it allegedly collided with a BMW X3 heading northeast on Musgrave Blvd. The nose of the BMW reportedly struck the middle of the passenger side of the Subaru.
Ms. Lovell purportedly suffered serious injuries despite the impact being on the opposite side of her vehicle. The BMW driver reportedly sustained minor injuries.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
