Houston, TX — October 15, 2023, Brittany Covarrubias was injured following a car accident at around 2:00 a.m. along Bellfort Avenue.
According to officials, the incident took place at the intersection of Bellfort Avenue and Glen Loch Drive, just west of Broadway.
It appears that 28-year-old Brittany Covarrubias was a passenger in a Hyundai Genesis reportedly going eastbound on Bellfort. Due to events not entirely clear right now, the vehicle crashed with a Ford Explorer going northbound on Glen Loch. Following the collision, authorities claim that the driver of the Hyundai left the scene.
Covarrubias was said to be seriously injured while a 6-year-old in the Hyundai might have had minor injuries. There were no other confirmed injuries. Right now, further information about the accident remains unclear.
