Bexar County, TX — January 29, 2024, a woman and a baby were injured in a pedestrian versus car accident just before 4:00 p.m. along Military Drive.
According to authorities, a 26-year-old woman was crossing Military Drive in the crosswalk area at Brownleaf Street with an infant girl when the accident took place.
While in the middle of the crosswalk, the woman and her child were allegedly struck by a Toyota Tundra pickup truck that had been making a left turn from westbound Brownleaf Street onto southbound Military Drive with a blinking yellow arrow. While the woman sustained apparently minor injuries, the baby girl incurred suspected severe injuries due to the accident. Both were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive additional evaluation and further necessary treatment.
