UPDATE (March 12, 2024): The two people who lost their lives as a result of this accident have been identified as Baxter Hosley—age 22—and Garrett Roy Macdonagh—age 23.
Houston, TX — March 10, 2024, two people were killed in a single-car accident at approximately 9:45 p.m. along Fondren Street.
According to authorities, two people—one age 22 and the other age 23—were traveling in a BMW in the vicinity of the Fondren Road and Main Street intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that the BMW may have been traveling at high speeds and weaving in and out of traffic leading up to the accident. The vehicle reportedly lost control for apparently unknown reasons and rammed into an exit sign. The impact was severe enough that the BMW was split into two pieces. Both of the occupants of the vehicle incurred fatal injuries as a result of the wreck.
Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
