Denton County, TX — December 25, 2023, Axel Isaac Fuentes was killed and Ana Puls was injured due to a pedestrian accident at around 2:30 a.m. on F.M. 1173.
Initial statements on the accident indicate that it happened near the intersection of F.M. 1173 and Odneal Road, just outside of Krum.
According to officials, 27-year-old Axel Fuentes was on foot at the time and apparently was in the area of westbound F.M. 1173. While there, a Toyota Camry struck Fuentes. That vehicle remained at the scene, and EMS was called.
Due to the collision, Fuentes sustained fatal injuries. 31-year-old Ana Puls, a passenger in the Toyota, reportedly had moderate injuries. Right now, no further information about the accident can be confirmed pending investigations.
