Dayton, TX — January 20, 2024, Stephen Oldham was injured in a truck accident at approximately 7:15 p.m. along F.M. 1960.
According to reports, 47-year-old Stephen Oldham was traveling in a westbound Chevy pickup truck along F.M. 1960 in the vicinity east of the C.R. 609 intersection when the accident occurred.
An 18-wheeler towing a trailer was reportedly making a left turn onto eastbound F.M. 1960 from a private drive. Officials indicate that the pickup truck, which had allegedly been driving at high speeds, crashed into the left side of the trailer of the 18-wheeler while it was still mid-turn.
Oldham incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was taken to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. There were no other injuries reported. Authorities have reportedly recommended charges of failure to control speed, reckless driving, and public intoxication against Oldham.
