Accident Report

March 22, 2026, Antoine Forest and Mackenzie Gunther were killed and dozens were hurt in an airliner crash at LaGuardia Airport.

According to current reports, the incident happened just before midnight on a runway at LaGuardia. It appears that Air Canada Express Flight 8646 was landing at the time and had touched down. Video shows that a firetruck was crossing the runway as the airliner approached, and the jet crashed into the fire truck.

Due to the crash, the two pilots on the plane were killed. Reports identified the pilots as Antoine Forest and Mackenzie Gunther. Reports say approximately 40 people from the airliner were taken to various hospitals. Some injuries were reportedly serious. Two people from the firetruck also had injuries.

Right now, the incident remains under investigation.
